Master Student to RISE High-throughput Centre
In this 30 – 45 credit Master thesis, we focus on important microbial ingredients to map major sensory attributes in the food product. The core activity would be to profile less explored organisms on residual sugars for production of valuable bio-based ingredients, to be applied in food industries.
The project is enabled by (i) #RISE High-throughput Centre with advanced robotic platforms (ii) #AAK a global fat/lipid producer and (iii) #Fibenol a European lignocellulosic sugar supplier. The study will also highly benefit from Thomas Andlid’s consultation, former Professor at Chalmers University of Technology with a track record in food microbiology.
